1、 Basic Definition and Raw Materials
The full name is 100% polyester short plush (polyester fiber short plush), which is made by warp knitting and knitting technology. The plush height is 0.5-3mm, and the suede surface is short, dense, and flat. It is commonly referred to as ultra soft short plush, PV plush, and crystal short plush in the market, and is the most widely used synthetic velvet fabric.
Raw material: Full polyester FDY ultrafine fiber, can be used as recycled polyester (rPET) environmentally friendly

The short velvet is dense and uniform, with a soft and sticky touch, similar to short velvet, without messy long hair, and adheres to the skin without pricking the flesh.

Polyester fiber has high strength and Martindale abrasion resistance of over 25000 revolutions per minute; Washed without shrinking, wrinkling, good shape retention, and long-term use without shedding.
Stable coloring and rich colors
Polyester has strong color adhesion, suitable for solid color, printing, embossing, and hot stamping. It has high color fastness and is not easily faded by sunlight.
Easy to wash and protect, quick drying
Machine washable, dry for a few hours after washing, no mold or insect damage, no need for frequent ironing and maintenance.

Short plush locks in the air layer, providing moderate warmth and being lighter than long plush. It can be used for air conditioning blankets and home clothes all year round.

3、 Obvious shortcomings
Easy to generate static electricity: Pure polyester does not absorb moisture, adheres to hair and absorbs dust in dry environments, pet hair; Can be improved by adding anti-static finishing
Mild pilling: Long term heavy friction can produce small balls, and high-density and heavy-duty models have better resistance to pilling
Average breathability: not suitable for long-term close fitting in summer, mostly used for soft clothing, outerwear, toys in autumn and winter
Poor moisture absorption: The surface of the fabric feels stuffy after sweating, and it is recommended to mix cotton/spandex for close fitting clothing
