Polyester plush insulation fabric

Polyester plush fabric insulation is a synthetic insulation fabric made of polyester fiber (polyester) as raw material, which forms a fluffy layer on the surface through processes such as pilling, pulling, and shaking. The core is air locking insulation, lightweight and quick drying, and high cost-effectiveness.
1、 Main types and characteristics (mainstream in the market)

  1. Polar fleece (sheep fleece/fleece)
Process: Polyester knitting → pulling → combing → shearing → shaking, with a uniform small particle shape on the surface.
    Advantages:
Strong insulation: Same weight insulation ≈ wool, 3-4 times higher than cotton.
Light, quick drying, moisture resistant: does not absorb water, remains warm even when wet.
Anti wrinkle and wear-resistant, no shedding of hair, and less prone to pilling.
Disadvantages: Dry and prone to static electricity, with average wind resistance.
Usage: Outdoor fleece jacket, inner lining of assault suit, hoodie, blanket, children’s clothing.
  2. Coral fleece
Craftsmanship: Ultra fine polyester fibers, long filaments, fluffy like coral branches.
Advantages: extremely soft touch, bright color, low price, and no fading.
Disadvantages: prone to static electricity, dust absorption, easy shedding of hair, poor wind resistance.
Usage: Home clothes, blankets, cushions, pajamas (not recommended for sensitive skin close fitting).
    Coral fleece fabric
  3. PV velvet (polyester velvet)
Process: High density polyester ultrafine fiber ->cutting velvet ->shaking wool, with long, dense, compact, and silky velvet.
Advantages: High quality texture, good warmth, no shedding of hair, and good sagging.
Disadvantages: Heavy weight, average breathability, and higher price than coral fleece.
Usage: Winter coat, coat lining, high-end home furnishings, toys, home textiles.
    PV velvet fabric
  4. Austenitic fleece (upgraded version of shake fleece)
Craftsmanship: Ultra fine polyester, with smaller and denser particles, feels like baby skin.
Advantages: Super soft and skin friendly, light and warm, good elasticity, improved anti-static properties, and less prone to pilling.
Disadvantage: The price is higher than that of ordinary shaking granules.
Usage: High end thermal underwear, base coat, light warm jacket, home clothing.
    Austenitic fleece fabric
  5. Imitation lamb wool (polyester version)
Craftsmanship: Curling polyester filament to simulate the curly feeling of lamb wool.
Advantages: Fluffy and thick, visually warm, soft and sticky to the touch, high cost-effectiveness.
Disadvantages: Easy to shed hair, prone to flattening, and generally windproof.
Usage: outerwear, vest, home clothes, blanket, decorative fabric.
2、 Core advantage (commonality of polyester plush)
Warm and efficient: The fluffy structure locks in a large amount of static air, forming a thermal insulation layer.
Lightweight and burden free: much lighter than cotton and wool in terms of warmth.
Easy to maintain: Machine wash, quick drying, wrinkle resistant, wear-resistant, no mold or insect infestation.
Affordable cost: cheaper than natural velvet, with high durability.
Stable form: not easily deformed or shrunk after washing.
