Polyester plush fabric for clothing

Polyester plush fabric (100% polyester fiber) is a soft, warm, and cost-effective synthetic fabric that is essential for autumn and winter. It is formed by fuzzing/pulling/shearing processes to create dense fluff on the surface, commonly including fleece, lamb wool, coral wool, flannel, and imitation rabbit hair.
1、 Core components and processes
Ingredients: 100% polyester (polyester fiber), high strength, wear-resistant, size stable, easy to dye, low cost.
Craftsmanship: Knitted base fabric → fuzzing/pulling → combing → shearing → dyeing/shaping, forming different styles such as short dense velvet, long velvet, and rolled velvet.
2、 Mainstream categories (commonly used clothing)
Polar Fleece: Small particle velvet on the surface, lightweight, warm, washable, non shedding, and quick drying; Suitable for outdoor jackets, inner liners, hoodies, and children’s clothing.

3、 Advantages (clothing friendly)
Strong warmth retention and light weight: Compared to cotton clothes, it is warmer with the same weight, better temperature locking, and not bulky.
Soft and skin friendly: delicate fur, no itching sensation, suitable for close fitting/children’s clothing.
Durable and easy to maintain: washable, not easily deformed, quick drying, not moldy, machine washable and worry free.
High cost-effectiveness: much lower than natural fur/cashmere, color/weight/fleece can be customized.
Safe and environmentally friendly: No animal ingredients, can pass SGS and other environmental certifications.
4、 Disadvantages (key points to avoid pitfalls)
Easy to generate static electricity: obvious in dry season, anti-static finishing or softener can be added.
Easy to absorb dust and have slight pilling: Short fiber styles are more obvious, choose high-density+anti pilling grade fabrics.
Average breathability: Thick and stuffy, suitable for autumn and winter, non intense sports scenes.
High temperature melting: Avoid cigarette butts and high-temperature ironing.
5、 Clothing application scenarios
Coat/Coat: Made of lamb wool and imitation rabbit fur, providing warmth and fashion.
Hoodies/cardigans: made of fleece or lamb wool, providing daily warmth and lightweight.
Home wear/pajamas: Coral fleece, flannel, skin friendly and comfortable.
Children’s clothing: fleece, lamb fleece, durable, safe, and warm.
Inner lining/lining: fleece, lamb wool, to enhance warmth and reduce costs.
Accessories: scarf, hat, gloves, soft and warm.
6、 Selection and Quality Assessment
Check weight: 280-400g/m ² conventional, 450-550g/m ² thickened for warmth.
Look at the velvet: the velvet is uniform, does not shed, does not fall, and has no exposed bottom.
Touch sensation: Soft and smooth, without hard lumps or itching.
Fastness test: It does not fade when rubbed dry/wet, and remains fluffy even after 30 washes.
Grade selection: First grade product (without obvious defects), anti pilling ≥ 3 grade, and better anti-static treatment.
7、 Nursing advice
Washing: Cold water/30 ℃ warm water, gentle mode, reverse washing, non bleaching, low-temperature drying/shade drying.
Remove static electricity: Use fabric softener to avoid mixing with synthetic fibers.
Anti pilling: Use a ball trimmer to reduce friction.
