Polyester plush anti-static fabric

Polyester plush fabric anti-static is based on polyester plush (such as fleece, lamb wool, teddy velvet, etc.), and uses fiber modification, embedding conductive silk, or post finishing techniques to solve the pain points of ordinary polyester, such as easy static electricity, dust adsorption, and close fitting, while retaining the advantages of softness, warmth, lightweight, and easy maintenance.
1、 Anti static principle (why not “electricity”)
Polyester itself has extremely poor moisture absorption and strong insulation (extremely high electrical resistivity), and frictional charges cannot leak during drying, resulting in severe static electricity accumulation.
Anti static electricity is mainly achieved through three technologies:
Embedded conductive fiber (permanent, mainstream)
Weave conductive fibers (nylon coated carbon fibers, carbon black composite fibers, metal fibers) into the base or suede according to regular patterns.
Forming a conductive network, instant leakage of electricity generated by friction, voltage<50V, no electric shock sensation, and no dust absorption. Polyester fiber hydrophilic modification (durable type) Plasma/grafting treatment introduces hydrophilic groups (- OH/- COOH) onto polyester molecules. Absorb trace amounts of water vapor in the air, form a water film conductive pathway, and reduce surface resistivity. Antistatic agent post-treatment (economical type) Surface coating with hydrophilic polymers such as quaternary ammonium salts and alkyl phosphate salts. Reduce friction, absorb moisture and conduct static electricity; The effect will deteriorate after multiple washes. 2、 Main categories and characteristics Anti static fleece (double shake/single shake) Weight: 220-320g/m ², with plump, fluffy and warm particles. Features: Anti static and anti pilling, washable, non shedding, universal for daily use/tooling. Anti static lambskin/teddy fleece Long, thick, and wool like, weighing 300-450g/m ². Features: Soft and skin friendly, strong warmth retention, anti-static, and less shedding of hair. Anti static lamb wool fabric Anti static short plush/Expo plush Short dense and delicate, resembling cashmere, weighing 280-350g/m ². Features: Close fitting, non stick, non absorbent, suitable for children’s clothing/home wear. Anti static Expo velvet fabric ESD industrial grade anti-static plush Containing 1-3% conductive fibers, with a surface resistivity of 10 ⁶ -10 ⁹ Ω. Permanent type: 97% polyester+3% conductive fiber (nylon carbon wire/stainless steel wire)
Durable type: Hydrophilic modified polyester (marked as “anti-static/permanently anti-static”)
