Polyester plush fabric

Polyester plush fabric is a warp knitted/weft knitted base fabric, which is formed on the surface by cutting, fuzzing, perming, and dyeing to form an upright, fluffy, and relatively long layer of fluff (fluff height is generally ≥ 2 mm, and high-end can reach 8-12 mm); The mainstream is 100% polyester filament (FDY/DTY), with some adding a small amount of spandex to enhance elasticity.
Weaving: The warp knitting machine (with multiple comb bars) weaves double layered fabric, which is then cut and separated into two long plush strands; Wevet is used for thin and low-cost products.
Plush/Cut Fleece: The steel wire needle roller repeatedly combs, pulls out the fiber ring, and cuts it to form upright fluff;
Ironing/shaping: High temperature ironing makes the fluff straight and feels softer, while fixing the size;
Dyeing/Post finishing: Environmentally friendly dispersed dyes can be used for dyeing, and anti-static, anti fouling, and flame-retardant coatings can be added.

2、 Core Performance and Parameters
Weight: commonly 200-400 g/㎡, home decoration can reach 400-600 g/㎡; The higher the weight, the thicker and warmer it is.
Width: Standard 150-160 cm, customizable for industrial use.
Advantages: Soft and fluffy, strong insulation, high color fastness, not easily moldy, insect infested, affordable price, easy to dry; High fracture strength, wear-resistant and durable.
Disadvantages: Poor moisture absorption (moisture regain<0.4%), prone to static electricity; High temperature ironing/drying can easily damage the fluff.
Key indicators: shedding rate (≤ 2% is preferred), pilling grade (≥ 4), color fastness (wash/friction resistance ≥ 4), anti-static performance.
3、 Common sub categories
PV velvet: short and dense, smooth and lustrous, with a smooth and sticky feel, commonly used in toys, home clothes, and cushions;
Crystal Super Soft: Ultra fine polyester (such as 144F) with finer fluff, close to real silk, suitable for baby products and high-end pajamas;
Imitation of raccoon/fox fur: long fur with dyed tips, high fidelity, used for clothing collars and fur coats;
Coral fleece: short haired, spiral curled, with better water absorption than ordinary plush, mainly used for bathroom towels and bedding.
